Tattoo's and the Law?

Hi,
I am 16 and live in the UK. I was just woundering if i could get a tattoo at this age with my parents consent.

I've never seen a studio tattoo at 16 but there's a lot who'll do it at 17 with parental consent

In the end, having to wait a few months tends to be a good thing; you can put a little more thought into your design and tweak any parts you're not 100% sure of

Anyway, in the US, you can get a tattoo after you turn 16 with parental consent. Make sure you bring the parent with you and goverment issued IDs for both of you. They will also make you sign a bunch of waiver forms.

Im not sure if the law is the same way in the UK

Not legally! The law is over 18's only, and to be honest I wouldn't trust a Tattooist who was prepared to break the law.
Things can and do go wrong and if this was the case for you, then you could end up paying for private treatment and because of the illegal aspect would not be able to claim against the Tattooist. No respectable Shop would do it!

No,, even with parents consent in UK , you cant get one till you are 18 or over..I looked it up on the legal board......regarding minors in the UK and tattoos
