Obama vs Hillary Clinton. Who do you think will become the democratic nominee.?

I for one just want a democratic president. I think our nation has suffered enough from Republicans and selecting a Democrat is what our nation needs right now. With this said, I propose this question. I personally like Obama. I believe unlike Hillary, he has no biased view about the presidency like Clinton has. Everything that Hillary say is so circumspect and has no difinitive answer to our problems. Obama has a more structured and broader plan when it comes to dealing with our economy and other political issues. What do you guys think?

Who will win, or who should win for the good of the country? Personally I think Hilary should win, but I think Obama will.
Hilary has loads more experience. She has seen first hand how running the country works. She will work her butt off in the job as she will have a lot to prove. She also has some damn good people around her.(as long as some can keep their trousers zipped up!)
Obama has the charisma, and if it one thing I have learnt about American politics is that experience and suitability for the job are secondary to how you are perceived. Look at George W Bush. What the heck were you guys thinking putting that idiot into power....twice!!!!!!!
Obama simply doesn't have the experience, but in the end I don't think that will matter. He comes across as more personable and that will be the deciding factor.
The really scary thing is that American voters have such a huge influence on the rest of us "little" people throughout the world. It is even more of a shame that most of you in the States have absolutely no idea what the world outside the states is like unless it directly effects America.
Your leaders have a huge influence on the rest of the world, yet you consistently vote in people who come across as not really giving a hoot unless it directly effects the USA. You invaded Iraq under the guise of bringing democracy and stability to that region. Why haven't you done the same in Zimbabwe? Answer, the USA has no financial interest in Zimbabwe. Do you even know where Zimbabwe is?
Obama or Hilary? It doesn't matter really. It is never about who the right person for the job is, it is about who is better at telling you what you want to hear. A scary realisation for the most powerful country in the world.

If you genuinely want a democratic president, Hillary is your only chance, at least for this election year. Obama is damaged goods, and so a nominated Obama will pave the way for a McCain presidency.

I respectfully must disagree with your point about Clinton lacking definitive answers to deal with American problems.... especially when it comes to our economy. Clinton has more solutions up her sleeve than Obama could ever dream of. She is very clear about the solutions she has proposed, and has realistic expectations about what needs to be done to implement those solutions. Clinton has proposed a self-correcting economy, under which all Americans would be able to prosper; not just the rich, and not just the poor.

Obama doesn't understand the economy. If he did, he wouldn't be talking about raising the capital gains tax, as if it would generate more revenue. (exactly the opposite would happen) Obama is proposing gobs of spending, but he has never been clear about how he plans to pay for that spending. Congress won't approve spending bills that Obama has no idea how to pay for them.

As far as Obama on "political issues"... his lofty Foreign Policy ideas are dangerously naive, especially when it comes to the middle eastern region. Obama doesn't have a good handle on National Security either... many democrats would refuse to vote for him on that point alone. (Just like the "Reagan Democrats" refused to re-elect Carter... for the same reason)

I think that you hear what you want to hear when Obama speaks! He is no more clear in what he will do than Clinton has been in her platform. Of course, I'm older, so I don't suppose I know too much that would be of interest to you. You are buying the younger person, not necessarily the one with the best chance of beating McCain in the National Election. That's the one that I care about!
