Click insert -> sound -> sound from file. Select the music you want to insert, then the music can be embed on the powerpoint presentation. Plz note only .wav format can be embed on your presentation. Other formats music can be insert to it but can't play well if the location of the music is changed.
If you want to music in every format embeded on PowerPoint presentation, you can convert the presentation to flash via using PPT2Flash or other tools alternatively. The converted flash aslo retain all the featrues of presentation and has a less file size.

Hi,

By default PowerPoint embeds sound files that are 100 meg or less. If your sound is larger, then go to the preferences and raise the number higher than the size of the sound file, otherwise it will be linked instead of embedded.
