Favorite Answer

d. CH3CH2OH

Im pretty sure thats the answer though not 100%.
My reasoning is that an acid-base pair is likely to dissolve so if choice d gives a H+ ion or an OH- they would combine to form salt and water because of neutralization.
Hope this helps you=)

Both Krypton an N2 are non polar solvents as they have no net dipole. However CCl4 will be miscible with both ethanol and methanol. However if u were to only choose one answer, i would choose ethanol.

d. Like dissolves like - they are both low molecular wt. alcohols
