    d. CH3CH2OH

    Im pretty sure thats the answer though not 100%.

    My reasoning is that an acid-base pair is likely to dissolve so if choice d gives a H+ ion or an OH- they would combine to form salt and water because of neutralization.

    Both Krypton an N2 are non polar solvents as they have no net dipole. However CCl4 will be miscible with both ethanol and methanol. However if u were to only choose one answer, i would choose ethanol.

    d. Like dissolves like - they are both low molecular wt. alcohols
