The number e is the sum of the infinite series Σ 1/n! where n ranges from 0 to infinity, and n! is the factorial of n.

This particular infinite sum is also known as euler's number. I haven't yet found a way to solve this infinite series. The 1/0! is confusing me also. If 1/0 is not deined then how come 1/0! can be used? I will need to come back to this answer later when I have some more time.

there is an easy formula: first term over (a million minus elementary ratio): a/(a million-r). right here the elementary ratio is a million/10, and a million-a million/10=9/10, and a=2.a million=21/10. So 21/10 * 10/9=21/9=7/3 precisely.
