How to build muscle / fat mass?

i have tried everything pretty much to build muscle / fat mass. i eat a lot of food, on average intaking 3,000-4,000 calories a day. i drink tons of milk, calcium supplements as well, and eat a lot of pasta as well. i have gone to gym quite a bit and have tried taking a lot of stuff from gnc, but still with no luck. i am 5'8'' and weigh about 160. i have no idea where my weight is coming from, when im skinny as a bat. any suggestions?

Get a weight gainer shake if you want to gain weight. Have it like 3-4x a day in addition to what your eating right now, trust me youll gain weight.
