Does anyone know of some good Bible verses that are encouraging?
I'm making a card and I want to put an encouraging Bible verse on the front of it, but I can't decide what I want to put. The front of the card is a picture of the beach with two sea stars on it, it's really pretty.

Habakkuk 2:3

Habakkuk means to embrace or to wrestle.
The reason I suggest this verse is because sometimes we get to the point where we begin to question where God is and why his promises have yet to surface. This verse is confirmation when and if you get to that point that God is still in control.
Alot of times we get caught on a hill sliding between the high we were once on and the road after that high...sometimes we give up because we don't see things happening as fast as we think they should-if we are patient enough to stop and take that time to listen to the direction God is taking us we will be rewarded-
James 1:2-4 " Consider it all joy my brethren when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have it's perfect result, that you may be complete, lacking in nothing."
