Encouraging Bible verses? (please read)?

"Become complete, Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you." 2 Corin.13:11

"Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." Romans 5:5

"God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear." Psalm 46:1

"But You , O LORD are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head." Psalm 3:3

Habakkuk 2:3

"These things I plan won't happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, do not despair, for these things will surely come to pass. Just be patient! They will not be overdue a single day!"

Habakkuk means to embrace or to wrestle.

The reason I suggest this verse is because sometimes we get to the point where we begin to question where God is and why his promises have yet to surface. This verse is confirmation when and if you get to that point that God is still in control.

Alot of times we get caught on a hill sliding between the high we were once on and the road after that high...sometimes we give up because we don't see things happening as fast as we think they should-if we are patient enough to stop and take that time to listen to the direction God is taking us we will be rewarded-

James 1:2-4 " Consider it all joy my brethren when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have it's perfect result, that you may be complete, lacking in nothing."

Psalm 118:26

26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD.

From the house of the LORD we bless you

This verse is good to send with a Gift

Psalm 28

Genesis 22:17:

"I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore."

Psalm 121, I will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence comes my help my help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.

Hebrews 5:8 though he was a son, yet he learned obedience by the things which He suffered.

Why do they have to be bible verses? That sure wouldn't encourage me.

Seriously, you can find a lot of very good quotes from smart people that don't have anything to do with the bible.
