yes same thing , just each wonts to to believe thats all .

Christianity was intended to be as you stated. Now, David at Your Service says "a system of ideas and ideals, especially one which forms the basis of economic or political theory and policy", which is exactly what and why Christianity was originally invented by the Romans. It is so simple to understand what religion is and why it was invented. People in power or wanted that power invented religion, and it has always been used to control the minds of the people who are too dense to understand they are being taken each and everyday.   All religions are cults and  the only thing is when a cult grew in membership it grows on wealth, then it finally 'makes it' and uses some of that money to promote the religion/cult.

Christianity's focus is helping people overcome sin so as to be saved where they can go to heaven.  It is independent of any economic or political system, and thus is designed to work within any such system, including totalitarian like the Roman dictatorships the first Christians lived under.

All religious folks fail to see the elephant in the room because of their blind faith. And the elephant is SUPERSTITION, it is an essential prerequisite for religiosity..
