Where did Jesus go after his resurrection? Did he die again?

Weirdly enough, I've never learned this

Updated 18 hours ago:

Did he not resurrect after being crucified? I thought the bible said so. So if he died, when/how did he die again to end up in heaven?

Jesus continued to show Himself alive to many people. After His resurrection, he spent 40 more days teaching. Acts 1 covers His post-resurrection ascension into heaven, alive. The Apostle Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 15 that Jesus had been seen by as many as 500 people all at once, after the resurrection.

Luke chapter 24 tells how Jesus leads the eleven disciples to Bethany, a village on the Mount of Olives, where he instructs them to remain in Jerusalem until the coming of the Holy Spirit: "And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he parted from them, and was carried up into heaven.

Resurrections are tangible, physical, and immortal.  A resurrected being cannot die again, otherwise he was never resurrected in the first place.  He was only raised from the dead.

No, either Christ conquered death or he did not.  Death can have no power over him again.

After his resurrection, Jesus Christ ministered to his believers in the Old World and the New.  He resides in God's heaven, but goes wherever God needs him to go.

Jesus died and rose again only once, never to die again.

    Only Jesus' flesh body died.

The resurrection of Jesus is that Jesus raised on the third day after His crucifixion at Calvary. Jesus defeated death. Jesus ascended to Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God.

Mark 16:19“So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.”

Peter 3:22“Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.”

It's right there in the Bible, and in the teaching of His Church. He ascended into Heaven, in full view of several eye witnesses.

Romans 6:8 Moreover, if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 9 For we know that Christ, now that he has been raised up from the dead, dies no more; death is no longer master over him. 10 For the death that he died, he died with reference to sin once for all time, but the life that he lives, he lives with reference to God.

He appeared in the garden where the tomb he'd borrowed for the weekend was. Women disciples saw him there. Then he appeared to some disciples on the road to Emmaus. Then he appeared in a room that was locked, suddenly standing among the disciples gathered there in fear. A week later he did the same thing when doubting Thomas was then present. And he appeared at the Sea of Galilee, and all over the place for 40 days, so that some 500 people witnessed him alive. Then they saw him ascend up into the clouds, which hid him from their sight. As they stood gazing up, two angels appeared and told them "This same Jesus who has been taken from you INTO HEAVEN, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven." Acts 1:1-11.

Your learning is sadly lacking, for that has been a written account in the Bible for nearly 2,000 years. Of course he didn't die again! He came FROM heaven as the Word incarnate. Read John chapter 1. Learn who this Jesus actually is and then you will know that your last sentence is nonsense.

Yes, I'd say it's weird that you don't know.

"I thought the bible said so" -- meaning YOU read the Bible?

Even by just paying attention to what's said here, you should know that Jesus resurrected and ascended to heaven.  He will come again to judge us.

No dear, HE is ruling and reigning in heaven and will soon RETURN to judge the EARTH. 😊 See, in heaven God gave Him all AUTHORITY over the entire universe. Demons, angels, humans, etc. etc.

Listen God has purposed us all to live here on this earth at this very moment (the present) we all have one chance to live in this beautiful land and to do it right. God is giving us an opportunity to have something even better than this. JESUS CHRIST paid that price all you have to do is to TRUST GOD while you live here cause the DEVIL is trying to kill us all. If we don’t believe what God is saying we will end up CONDEMNED forever.
