I recently purchased the Kimber eclipse target II, and when i load the magazine to capacity which is 8, I am unable to chamber it, but if I remove one and leave it at 7, then I can chamber it just fine. What is the cause of this problem? this has never happened on any of my other pistols.

my kimber would not lock back on the factory magazine. try a wilson combst magazine and see ifthat solves the problem

sounds like a magazine issue. Try buying a magazine from a different aftermarket company.
