How can I delete Windows updates before they are installed.?
I'm experiencing a problem with windows update. It tell me i have two updates to install. When I choose to install them, almost immediately it notifies me that they were not installed. It does not give me any explanation what so ever. So i assume that maybe the installation files are currupt. But how do I tell windows to re-download them. If i go to the update site, it says download time 0min * updates already downloaded. Same result when I try to install though. Any ideas?

go to your control panel. Add and remove programs. Check the "show updates" its on the top . u will see all the updates. Select the ones you want to remove and Remove.

Go to control panel and open Automatic Updates. Select Notify me but don't automatically download or install.
You can update your Program to download only after you choose which ones or notify you before they do. If it says they are downloaded you should be able to check in Control panel, Add and Remove by showing all updates. If you are set to update automatically they will not update again You can go to Windows and run check for any updates and they will answer you there if you are updated automatically
