i think if you are asking these types of questions, you should stay away from the Maxximus. its too much power and requires a very strong electrical current.
plus, if money is a concern...
you should start with a 1000 - 2000 watts rms system and get to know all the info dealing with a sound system, installation, box planning and building.

don't get that hifonic piece of crap, all of their amps are very over rated (non CEA-compliant, you would be lucky to get half of the advertised RMS wattage and it would still be distorted) you already have high quality subs (CEA-complaint) so don't try to cheap out on your amp- if you go with a non CEA-compliant amp you wont have the necessary wattage and when the volume is turned up and the amp doesn't have enough power, the signal becomes distorted, or "clipped." This distorted signal can cause parts of the speaker to overheat, warp and melt. -killing the sub
you are safe with any amp from these CEA-compliant companies (CEA-compliant means that the amp produces or exceeds the advertised RMS wattage with minimum distortion and the subs can handle their rated RMS wattage) Alpine Bazooka Blaupunkt Clarion Eclipse Infinity JBL JL Audio Kenwood Kicker MTX Pioneer Polk Audio Rockford Fosgate Sony
Before even considering an amp of this magnitude, is your electrical system going to even be up to snuff for it with those upgrades? (This bad mo-fo has a 1000A fuse rating ... crazy!) Make no mistake this is the correct combo for the money. But, along with the electrical upgrades be ready to make some glass upgrades too. I've witnessed four SoloX subs ran by this amp and it is rather insane. Definitely not for the novice ... I think of myself as an amateur and it's way too much for me too!!!
