What about first spouses?

Of course, we must focus on the actual candidates, but what about their spouses?

Obviously, Clinton has Bill. It's unprecented for a former president to be the spouse of a new president. Not sure what I think of that...

I don't have a particularly favorable opinion of McCain's wife. She seems rather secretive and unpleasant. I'm not sure she would be a good public asset for McCain if he was elected.

Obama's wife is ok. She would eventually get the hang of public speaking, I think, but she would still look rather dull compared to her husband's excellent public speaking abilities.

I know that Edwards is out of the race, but I am most impressed with his wife. There were times early in the campaign when I thought she should be running instead of him.

First of all I don't care where Bill puts his winky, that has nothing to do with Hillary being president, secondly, Michelle Obama has shown me her hate for America, which does effect her husbands as President, thirdly, I don't think she seems secretive at all, or unpleasant. I think she would make a great first lady. And as far as Edwards wife, I feel sorry for her, she has a Whimp for a husband.

You think Obama's wife is okay????? this lady has no class at all and she thinks that its okay to tell people that she was never proud to be an american until now that she has the spot light. she attended a church with anti american practices and racism remarks. not cool
John McCains wife has never said a word so how can you tell that she is unpleasent. she looks pretty and she seems pretty much flawless right now.

Well, you expressed your opinion. Good for you. You don't need mine because you will not agree with it anyway.
