Why do liberal democrats lie so badly about republican issues?

I understand that liberal democrats are the less educated, so my question is why do they keep claiming that when a republican is running on cutting taxes, the democrats try to say they cut taxes for the rich? I know the democrats think that anyone making more the 10,000 a year is rich, since the tax cuts we mostly for the middle, and very low class(which is mostly democratic voters) . Its hard to believe they wouldnt want tax cuts, it helps their base, but it's funny how all the Democratic candidates want to raise taxes on the middle and low class.

I think Obama's election song should be that one that goes "Tax the rich to feed the poor, until there are no rich no more" (or something like that). However, if you have no rich, you have no innevators, no innevators means no jobs, no jobs means no middle class. No middle class, no rich, means everyone is poor except for the almighty government. America needs the rich, but we also need the ability to go from middle class and poor to rich, my dad made this transformation ( he is not 50 billion dollars rich, but he is living a lifestyle above his need). Democrats deny this bridge through high taxes in my opinion.

The reason you have people like Bill Mahyer up there talking about how under taxed the rich are is because he is pandering to a middle class income. When you are driving a broken down ford and you see someone who is driving a $300k car, you don't realize the risk and sacrafices they made to afford that car, all you see is what they have. Bill Gates is a shining example, he was made in about a 2 day panic. He was negotiating the first GUI (Windows 3.2) while at the same time trying to sell it to a major company. The major company bought the deal while Gates still had nothing to sell. It took a lot of scrambling on his part to complete the buying of Windows 3.2 (a very large risk) which he has been repaid for over and over and over again. But we don't see that, we all see his 50 billion dollar bank account...

I will never forget when Al Gore was running for President. He stood up in a Black Church in the south and said "There was a time when a certain group of people only believe a man was worth 2/3s of a vote..." Of course his listeners cheered, but they cheered out of ignorance, not knowing that it was Southern Democrats who believed that, not the Republicans. Republicans have done the same thing as well along other party lines.

I have to agree with the responders overall. Your question contains lies. I'm almost finished with an MBA/Accounting. I have a 3.9 GPA. I'm a democrat. Most of my family is democratic and they are highly educated. Everyone has at least a Masters degree. There are uneducated people in both parties. It doesn't really matter. There are highly educated people in the Republican party too. I am interested in what those people have to say because they can hold the line with the truth and facts. My father is a republican but he's not voting for McCain. He may support Obama. He favors Clinton over Obama.

The democrats have to work with the Republicans, a powerful force. FDR was hated by the Republicans for making them pay higher taxes. He encountered a lot of heat for what he did. He had to be highly inventive to do what he was able to do. He had to outsmart them. FDR would have been a Republican but he didn't feel there was room in his party for another Roosevelt. He liked talking to people and once he saw what was really going on at the ground level. He knew that the government couldn't just let things be as they were. It was too painful and against our Constitution.

FDR was a great man.

The republicans have been secretly undermining this country for many decades. It's nothing new. It's a bit shocking that the public still seems unaware of it.

edit: Way to go Shambles! Guess they don't like the truth.
It can be unpleasant but so is life sometimes.

Example:

Republicans often talk about cutting the "death tax."
This sounds great on the surface. The Republicans will tell you a sob story about the family farm and keeping it in the family.

However, the only people who have to pay these taxes at the transfer of an estate are people who have VERY LARGE ESTATES.

So people like Paris Hilton, George Bush, Jr., the Gates family, etc., will pay less in taxes when they inherit the family estate.

This is an ENORMOUS amount of tax revenue lost by the government (to fund highways, bridges, the military, educational programs)-- yet the "citizens" who will be "keeping more of their own money" are not those who earned the vast wealth--they will be the heirs who already are stinking rich and will continue to be stinking rich whether they pay the "death tax" or not.

The real issue is not exactly whether you are for "cutting taxes." The real issue is GOOD MANAGEMENT of resources.

There are things we as a nation need.
There are things we as a nation want that are also smart investments.
There are things we want that are not smart investments.
There is WASTED money.

We need to bring in enough money for the things we need, and we need to make smart investments for our future.

We cannot short-change these, even if it means paying more in taxes.

We do need to cut silly pet projects and unnecessary expenses that can be covered by private purchase instead.

We always need to pay attention to how the money is managed. Taxes are not "thrown away" --they are used.

Because they hate to admit that conservative policies have worked in the past. They tend to be touchy-feely people that aren't objective and analytical. They manipulate data to accomplish their objectives. Many left wingers are over-educated (degrees etc. but no common sense). That's what makes them dangerous to the average person. I think no one can define what the "middle class" is. They love to say things like the top 10% only paid 10% of the taxes. Well, there are only a few Warren Buffetts, Bill Gates, etc. in this country.
So, 10% of the highest tax payers are going to pay a proportionally less burden of the overall tax burden. It there are 200 million tax payers. 10% would be 20 million. So, we can infer than 180 million are going to pay the largest proportion of all the taxes owed to the Treasury.

The Democrat party is a very diverse group with different factions ranging from traditional labor to fringe groups. I think it's mostly the far-left social justic/public benefits/activist crowds that want to pay more taxes. They want socialism.

Well, 'liberal' Democrats (all Democrats, in fact) have learnt (the hard way) that it pays to lie.
Elections are won by spreading as many lies as possible.
Don't believe me?
Ask Gore and Kerry.

Republicans are now screaming 'blue bloody murder' for being the 'victims' of their own inventions?

Well, tough sh*t!

Now, I am going to sit and do nothing in the park, like a good uneducated stupid liberal.
Maybe smoke I'll something bad and molest little girls. Can't wait until January so that the Government can look after me and my inbred siblings and my 12 or so halfwit kids..
