Anyone can endorse anyone they want. The actions of the candidate, past and present should be what determines electability. McCain's citizenship is questionable when we take into consideration that children of illegal immigrants born on U.S. soil are considered citizens when they should not be citizens of the USA but citizens of the country of their parents' origin. If we allow McCain to run for President even though he was born elsewhere, then we will have serious problems when the citizenship is questioned by people who would like to take over the USA and this could trigger future court challenges. A communist or terrorist or even children of illegal immigrants who are of questionable loyalties could run for president and cause a complete takeover of the country and could force the country into Muslim, Buddhaism, Catholicism, Communism, Facism, Socialism or any other oppressive form of government. When people don't take their rights to vote seriously and when the laws are not enforced, then the government is promoting a takeover. If you don't believe this, just look at France, England and other countries who are "a day late and a dollar short" in enforcing their immigration laws and are now facing serious problems with muslim extremists and other fringe groups. I'm more concerned about this than I am about who endorses a candidate.
"But I can confirm to you that we never tortured him. We never tortured any prisoners." So ALL of the prisoners and everyone ELSE who has ever been to, or held at the Hanoi Hilton are liars, but not this ONE man (our sworn enemy at the time) who has a personal agenda?...Interesting theory.
You believe that NO ONE was tortured in 'Nam, during the Vietnam war, at the Hanoi Hilton?...Hmm, I wonder why my UNCLE would lie about that
"Of course the Americans started the war in Vietnam" Do you believe THAT one, too?...Did you fail History?
BTW, did you happen to read your own article? "But Mr Duyet's propaganda-perfect version of events is impossible to verify - and should be treated with caution in a country where the Communist authorities still keep a tight control over the media." Just in case you have no idea what that means, it means that if this guy says something that the communist leaders of his country do not WANT him to say (which would be anything that makes their country look 'bad'), he can be put to death. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/7459946.stm
I guess I know now why Obama supporters believe that "Obama will only raise taxes for the rich"...You guys are too easy.
EDIT: How could it possibly "hurt his campaign"? Anyone with at least a 6th grade education, and a basic knowledge of history, knows that this is made-up BS.
Well considering Obama is ranked by the National Journal the most liberal senator in the senate even more than the only Socialist Party senator from Vermont, that makes Obama the closest this country has ever come to a Communist leader.
Candidates are not responsible for those who endorse them. But if I thought they were, it would bother me much more that McCain is endorsed by the criminals inside the current administration!
