By m2 do you mean m squared? Assuming this is what you mean then:

If m≠n then n>m and so n²>m² and so n²≠m²
So by the contrapositive if n²=m² then m=n.

Assume m is not equal to n
then multiply by 2 [or raise]
and you get that 2m [or m^2] is not equal to 2n [or n^2]
