I have a yellow Lab and a Pit Bull. I will always have Labs but one day I wish I could get a Tibetan Mastiff, they are huge fluffy teddy bears, so cute. The funnist thing my yellow Lab does is call me into a room or to go somewhere he is to get what he wants. He has a certain bark that he uses when he has been in trouble and I have learned to come running. Now he uses it to call me to bed, to get him his water bowl so he does not have to get out of bed, or to get him a treat. He also does object recognition and knows over 55 different objects and people. I have owned all the breeds you listed and all are great dogs to have. My grandparents bred and raised Dobies so I was raised with them at my side. My dad bred and raised German Shepherds and my brother currently breeds Rotties. They are ALL auperior GREAT dogs.
I have an Airedale Terrier, a German Shepherd/Chow mix, and an Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie mix. What kind of dogs do I wish I could have...Besides Airedales, probably some sort of Setter or Pointer, a Giant Schnauzer, a Boxer, a Belgian Sheepdog, a Collie and an Irish, Lakeland, Scottish, Wheaten, Welsh, and Wire Fox Terriers
The coolest thing my dog does is peel boiled eggs. The funniest thing he does is he sits in a wheelbarrow and lets you push him around everywhere.
I have a GSDx (male) and a BCx (female). They are both perfect for me, very "soft" gentle dogs.
However, I do really love Rotties (I had one a while back but had to put him down b/c of his hips). Not sure if I would ever get one again, but they are a favorite of mine. I've kinda become an adult mutt person b/c I like being able to pick and choose the personality of my dog rather than wonder what he will become when getting a puppy (even with purebreds, you never really know).
I do love GSD's (especially b/c I have one) and I have a thing for Dobies (especially the reds) but there are also some characteristics of well bred ones that don't fit me well right now. Because of the purpose of the breed, they can be very bold and more challenging - which I do love, but not right now in my life. Right now, I'm enjoying my "easy dogs".
I have a 2 year old chocolate lab named Willie. He is crazy and loveable, and my "dog child".
The funniest thing he has done is get his head stuck in the couch. He was trying to snuggle with my husband and the goof put his head between the cushions. He was making all sorts of noise and his butt is wagging all over the place! We had to pull him out, silly man!
The sweetest thing he does is kiss my face when we take a nap together. I think he is happy to snuggle with Mommy out of his crate.
The funniest thing he does is talk back. When we tell him to sit or lay down so we can throw his toy, he will bark and bark before he does it.
If I could get any dog, other than Willie, I would get an Irish Wolfhound and name her Erin's Emerald Isle. I'd call her Emmie.
I have a Dalmatian who I love so much, shes so calm and fun at the same Time and she's a great cuddlier but watch out for the shedding
I also have a Brittany (spaniel) but there not counted as spaniels anymore and I lover her shes just extremely hyper and will run around until she is passed out on the floor with her tongue hanging out but shes so graceful and sweet and gentle
The funniest thing my Brittany does is if you say in a playful tone "do you want to go outside!?" she spins in circles and howls and licks you all the way to the door
Both of my dogs are rescued, we found our Brittany two years ago and she was about two and we found the Dalmatian when she was 9 months old and her and her brother was abonnoed
