we've had 3 fuel pumps bc we keep getting bad ones, we'll be driving down the road and it will all of a sudden just quit! we'll try to start it nothing just cranks, so we wait for like 10-15 minutes and it starts up perfect. then after about 15-20 mins it will just quit again! the trans.motor, fuel pump is all new spark plugs everything.
everyone that we talk to has no idea what it is, and there will be no service engine light? any input or ideas would be great! thank you

Any good electrical guy could chase down an obvious "open" (short) between the fuel pump and the main terminal block next to your radiator. It would be extremely easy to just run a new electrical line from the fuel pump on top of the fuel tank with out sweating or swearing trying to find the short in the present one.
I don't believe you ever had a fuel pump problem, just the "juice" running to it. I also find it hard to believe no one ever direct wired one of the old pumps to a 12 volt source to check to see if it worked or not.
The key to the matter is that it starts up again after shutting down after 15 minutes. If it starts up again, the fuel pump is ok, and so you're changing out something that works. Something else is failing. So you have not service engine light, have you checked to see if its set a code. Some mechanics will hook up diagnostic equipment on to your car. Would love to see the fuel pressure when it fails and then when it starts back up.
there is nothing wrong with the pump so stop changing it and wasting money...
so here is the problem: you have a foren object in the tank yes i sayed in the tank and it is blocking the intake of the fuel so this is what you need to do CHANGE THE TANK no you can not just wash it out or shake it clean you need to CHANGE THE TANK....
