Good song to sing for contest?
I'm entering a singing contest where I have to submit a video around a minute or two long of my singing. I'm a fifteen-year-old girl; what's a good song to show off talent?

Need to know a bit more. What genres do you sing? What songs have you previously sung before?
I would just suggest something you already know by heart and you feel connected to, you won't get that feeling from a song someone said "Sing this" and learn it overnight or anything like that. Look through music you listen to, and something you feel confident about singing.
And by chance, do you have any karaoke games on gaming consoles or anything you sing on? If so, choose an easy one from there you can get a VERY good rating and score on. Though it IS a game, not a person.
Personally, I think you need a song you know very well and you've had others that are honest and judged you before you record.

I guess it all depends on the style of singing you like. You have to sing a song that's true to yourself, sticking with your style. Try picking something well in your range and make sure it's a song that you could truthfully sing and make it believable. <3

Well a good Ballad is "On my Own" from Les Misrebals,a good charater is "Popular" from Wicked, and a good over all song choice would be "Bubbly" by Colbie Calliht or "Our Song" by Taylor Swift. Hope this helped -Teenweeklypick01

Alto or soprano?
I say any Carrie Underwood song. Its got high and low, for any range. Like "Jesus Take the Wheel" is a good song.
