What diet seems to work out best for someone with PCOS?
I have poly cystic ovarian syndrome and was recently taken off my glucophage. I've been eating healthy and working out but I seem to keep gaining weight. Does anyone have a good diet to recommend?

Low Carb is the way to go. It's the only way I can lose weight and it also helps to somewhat normalize my periods. Women with PCOS are insulin dependent, and the less carbs we take in, the less insulin our body's have to produce. The less insulin we produce the more our body's act like every other womans body. Also helps with the infertility issues we have. Give it a try!
I have a great diet, i did it for four days and i lost like 4 or 5 pounds. You're really supposed to do it for a week then you lose 10 pounds, but you can't keep on doing it. If you want to do this diet for more than one week then do it one week then dont do it again but do it the next time after that week. What diet im talking about is the cabbage soup diet. Go on google and type in cabbage soup diet and it will give you a website that has all the information you will need to do this diet, but if your not a big fan of cabbage then dont do it. And do not force yourself. When i did it on the fifth day i didnt do it yet so then i just ate some cereal then kept on eating and eating but not too much. This diet teaches you to lay off the chips, soda, junkfood, sweets, etc. So if you want just try it, just go to google and search it right now, before time runs out!-lol(laughing out loud). Hope my answer helped you out.
P.S.-I've told a lot of people about this diet and they liked it! and im not kidding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(really im not)
