TWW, how to pass the time? Also, what to expect with progesterone?

Man this TWW stinks! I always try to keep my excitment in check but every month the TWW seems long. Any tips for how to pass the time?

I'm 32, been ttc for 18 months. This month my doctor has me on 100mg daily of B-6 and 200mg of progesterone in a suppository at night to try to help with a 10-11 day luteal phase. I'm 3DPO so I start the progesterone tonight and am a little anxious. What should I expect...both physically and mentally as I start these? Your experiences with this would be most appreciated!

This cycle I had a positive OPK on CD20 in the late eveing, so I'm pretty sure I O'ed on CD 21. We BD on CD 15, 17, 19, 21 & 22. Temps have been high since CD22. I'm so hoping it's my time...

Thanks for all the baby dust you can spare!!!

the progesterones are tricky. it gives you pregnancy like symptoms. like breast pain, moodiness.

the flyer they gave me at the hospital said too keep busy during the 2ww. plan special events so that time seems to go faster.

baby dust to you too. i have 7 days left to find out if the ivf worked.

Hello, the tww sucks! I have been trying to pass the time with other things although it is very hard. And as you can see I am here on Yahoo!Answer TTC page so I am not doing a very good job lol. DH and I have been ttc for 5 months. I am also 3DPO. I got a positive OPK on CD17 and I am pretty sure I O'ed on CD18. We BD on CD13, 15, 16, 17 and 18. I am a little worried about not BDing after the 18th but they say that sperm can live for a while so I guess it is ok. I dont do BBT but I know that an average Temp for me is low to mid 97's and just for giggles I took my temp this morning and it was 98.0. I am hoping that is a good sign. I dont know what an average temp is for pregnancy or if it would even register that way yet. Good Luck and loads of baby dust to you!

I wish I knew a good way to pass the time! I'm in my high fertility waiting for the peak, so I'll be there soon I hope. I can tell you about progesterone, though. Everyone is different, but when I take it I do so at night to reduce the side effects. I get nauseous, tired, bloated, cranky and sometimes I get headaches. The symptoms start about an hour after I take the first dose and are really bad the first 5-6 days, then I start getting used to it and after day 9-10 I feel pretty normal, just a little bit fatigued and still bloated. Here's hoping this is your month!

My suggestion go to this website its where i went when i was trying to conceive. There are a lot of people on y/a with good advice. But there are people on this website who are very educated... This site is awesome. It helped me through when i needed it most. check it out. You can talk to other woman who know EXACTLY what you are going through and make trying to conceive buddies.
