Toilet training tips?

I'm in the process of toilet training my 2 1/2 year old son. Any advice anyone can give would be greatly appreciated.

My son's father left us when I was pregnant, so getting having him show my son how it's done is not an option.

put training pants on him, when the pee dance starts, rush and sit him on the toilet. work with him and ask if he needs to go potty many times throughout the day. this may take time, boys are harder to train. i like the idea of putting soap in the toilet to make it fun to pee in the toilet because it will bubble. i dont know your son, but hopefully this will work. just be patient

Hello,
I am a childcare and I toilet train the girl i mind (2 yrs old). What i usually do I ask the parents that every morning when she wakes up bring her to the toilet for wee-wee. And I dont put nappy on day time but every 2 hours i have to bring her in the toilet. Or when she drink water/liquid Ill wait like 5 mins.then ill bring her again to the toilet and say its wee-wee time. Its a hard job but in 2 weeks she done it. I only put nanny when she sleeps incase she will make an accident. Just be consistent.
Potty that everytime u flash make a sound/sing is also a helpfull. I also suggest that you ask you husband since your child is a boy to teach him.Or show him how to do the wee (boy do)as you know its different to a girl.It may sounds funni but it will help in his development. I have 1 experience the boy is doing his wee--like sitting thats because He saw his mami doing it..so he copied her and now they are having hardtime correcting it and the boy is comfuse with his sexuality. Hopely it will help.

i know you probbaly dont want to hear this but he will do it when he wants to. my son is finally trained at 3 1/2. anyways i would leave him without a diaper and he would actually ask for a diaper so he could pee in it. one night when he asked i said no and sat him on the toilet and read a book to him and he just went. and since then he still does!
good luck!

First, I could dangle a bell at the door that you just desire the dog to move out of. Secondly everytime that you are taking the dog out of that door you are taking its paw and faucet the bell. The bell have to be located low sufficient for the dog to faucet it on its possess. I have a small fenced in discipline (which you'll purchase or make) external of the door wherein I placed the dog in. I woudl take a work of his droppings and position it within the discipline. Take the dog out quarter-hour to a part hour after it eats. After he does his tasks, deliver the dog a deal with, if he does now not, don't deliver him a deal with. The dog gets used to hitting the bell and you are going to adore it.
