Senator Obama's Wisdom vs McCains Experience. Which is more important?

Obama has held elective office for 12 years. For the most part has been accurate in his assessment of American Policy. McCain has 26 years of legislative experience but has been on the wrong side of most issues. After 26 years in Washington, nobody can deny the fact the he has endorsed virtually all of the Bush Administration policies that have failed and made a catastrophic mess for country.

Your thoughts ?

Luv2 Answer - You are 100% correct. American voters made a mistake by returning Bush to office after he was "selected" president in 2000. We wound up with the gov't we deserve. The Question really is about not repeating the same mistake a 3rd time.

obama's wisdom;

He is friends with the unrepentant founder of the weather underground William Ayers .
Twenty years attending a church led by a racist america hating pastor.
Yes the wise and power oz (sorry I meant obama) will save us all.

Bush won the election in 2000 by the electoral college. Voting for McCain is not a vote for Bush.

I really don't see how his opinion when he was dog-catcher or whatever it was 2 years ago back in Illinois matters. His opinion on national matters was no more informed than mine was. Did he sit through CIA briefings? No. Was he briefed by our military commanders? No. So where exactly does all this wisdom come from? The guy gave a fiery but pointless speech at Kerry's convention, two years later he was rushed into the US Senate with no real viable competition from the other side in a blue state, in fact the republicans had to ship in a guy from Maryland to run against him. Immediately upon his arrival to Washington, he starts campaigning for President. Where is all this wisdom coming from?

Because of McCain's age, I think that he'll be focusing on something that was typically a "Democrat" issue: national health care.

As for the war in Iraq, screw Obama and McCain, where's my Colin Powell? That guy got us out of Iraq the first time in about 150 days. And that war was OVER. This war has nothing to do with the other one...they were fought for completely different reasons, it's only a coincidence that two Bushes were in office.

Please do give examples of Obama's wisdom other than his speech in 2002

If we had followed Obama's wisdom, IAll troops would be out of Iraq and the country would be in the middle of a sctarian civil war with 100's of thousands of Iraqis being killed just because of their beliefs.

Where is the wisdom in that?

MCain _) Introduced tobacco legislation that would have increased taxes on cigarette manufactures and made them pay billions in compensation. Bill Clinton called it the best legislation he had seen.
The bill was defeated. A few years later a watered down version was passed.

McCain-Lieberman introduced in 2000 and enviromental legislation that would have capped greenhouse gases at 1990 levels, which again was not passed by the legislation. Enviromental groups at the time applauded McCain's legislation as a good first step

Do you want me to go on?

So kill it with the Democrat party spin and at least do some fact checking other than DNC wesbite and Democrat party bloggers
