Help with derivative, please? d/dx((x^2+2x+66)^1/2)?

This is not a "please do my homework for me" question. Actually, it's "please help me remember how to do differentiation so I can get on with my vector parabola minima work".
Help with derivative, please: d/dx((x^2+2x+66)^1/2)? Thanks!

use the chain rule.... get the derivative of the outside first which will be 1/2 (x^2+2x+66) -1/2 d/dx (x^2+2x+66) so (check my math)

1/2(x^2+2x+66)^-1/2 * 2x+2 is the answer but you can simplyfy it
