A woman told me years ago that if your vehicle is dirty your house is dirty too. Well, I said my house is cluttered, but I do try to keep my car cleaned out. My car is not cluttered because I am the only one ever in it. Poppy

Hi Poppy - my house is neat and tidy (but you might find a dust bunny or two under the bed), and my car is neat and tidy - but with the weather of late - it is nearly impossible to keep the outside clean and shiny! Good Q. But I think that woman was not giving you the straight story! Have a star. CJ
My house is a bit messy as it is so tiny. My pickup truck, now that is a different story. When I am not using it to help clean up this land, it is clean. After I wash it, I wax it as well. The windows are clean inside and out. The carpet and the seats are vacuumed and shampooed. The floor mats are cleaned. I even steam clean my engine and then spray it with a clear gloss. I even spray a scent in my pickup. So yep, I can say that my pickup is far cleaner than my tiny house. I am working on trying to get and keep my tiny house as clean as my pickup. I sure don't want to follow in my parents foot steps in that area.
I keep my vehicle very clean, it is new, and black very popular color now and when clean it looks shiny like patent leather. The interior is very clean, it is mostly just myself, and occasionally a neighbor that goes with me to exercise that use the vehicle Now the house is a different story. My areas are very clean, but cluttered, then the other areas I have no control over are neglected . yes Puppe
I live on a farm, and raise goats. You don't even want to know what my vehicles look like, and smell like at times! During kidding season, I can have 10-20 newborn baby goats wrapped up in towels warming up in front of the woodstove. So my house can start to smell a bit "zooish" at times too.
Doesn't matter though. I've never had someone show up, who didn't end up sitting on my couch cuddling a baby goat or two with a completely enthralled and smitten look on their face.

P.S. As a Landlord the whole car/house thing is well known to me. I always try to walk perspective tenants to their car. Gives me a clue what kind of tenants they will be.
Hubby cleans the outside, I clean the inside, I seldom eat or drink in the car. Today I was so hungry I ate a candy bar and yep a little chocolate on the seat. Got to go clean that up. Now.
