My car has been at the repair 6 month. Nobody knows. Everything mechanical and the electrical system has been checked and proved o.k.
(Motor, exhaust system, ignition, wires - everything) No error. The car runs, but can' pick up speed.Putting the accelerator through makes no effect. It's very dangerous to drive. What else can it be??? What else is worth to be checked?

I agree with Don have another shop look at it. If its still underpowered than everything is not fine. There is something their missing.

I have this car too and mines runs fine. Did you ask anyone in the yahoo x90 group?? Thats where I see the most owners.
But yeah, if a shop has a car (Any car) for 6 months and cant figure it out....I would get to stepping.

Time for another shop to have a look. If it runs but does not accelerate then you have:
1. Bad trans
2. Clogged exhaust ( disconnect at manifold to test )
3. Clogged air intake ( bad filter or something stuck in filter box or intake tubes.
4. Camshaft(s) out of time or worn out. Possible timing belt.
