Ice-breakers, Get-to-know-you games, ETC?

Hey, I'm in a Educational Occupations class, and our assignment is to find the best and most effective icebreaker, and demonstrate it with the class.

If you don't know what an icebreaker is, it's the games you play on the first day of class to help you get to know everyone in the room.

I've found a few examples, but I need more to share with the class. Help is very appreciated.

I am not sure the name of the game. Every one is in a circle start with the first person - they say their name and make a gesture ( like tipping hat) the next person has to say that persons name and mimic what they did and say their name and make a different gesture. this continues till the last person.
OR in a circle first person says their name IE Tracy and I came on a Train, the next person has to remember their name and what they came on and say their own name and what they came on, till the end.
