Did I see McCain give a full salute on his release from POW camp in Viet Nam?
I always had the impression that his ordeal prevented him from lifting his hand above his shoulder.

Yes he did, what you don't see is that the vietcong in the weeks leading up to release, wanted to look good so they gave them medical care food and clothes. McCain had to have multiple surgeries on his return to correct issues.
He has limited movement from multiple fractures. Look at it and you can see him limp and the stiffness. Also understand he had just been released, if there was nothing else he could do he was going to salute. it was probably quite painful.
This is really from personal experience, I went to school with the children of two of McCain's Hanoi Hilton pows. Jeremiah Denton ( noted for blinking torture in morse code) and Michael Christian ( the fellow with the flag). Mrs. Denton went to my church and would give regular updates on the POW's and her husband.

Not sure what YOU saw.
His injuries during his captivity, over time, has limitied his mobility with regards to certain movements.
When you get older, you will know that early adult injuries progress in their limiting of movement.
Are you suggesting that he fakes not being able to raise his hands above his shoulders?

and this is important to the election? HOw?
and it's his full arms that he can't raise above his shoulders.
Now can you sleep better at night?
None
I don't know...did you? Apparently you can't provide a link so everyone else can see...what you supposedly saw.

i would guess that as he';s gotten older the beating and broken bones has taken their toll on his joints.
