Do most Ebonics-speakers type Ebonics too?
Just wondering if one can expect most Ebonics-speakers to type Ebonics too, such as in emails. Please, I'm only asking those who know first-hand. (I can't make any use of assumptions). Thanks!

Most people who use slang only use it in speech. They might use it in informal settings, such as this, (evidenced by the 'net speak and other slang I see teenagers use here), but they wouldn't be likely to get away with it in formal correspondence or business/school papers.

Don't all teenagers pretty much write some whacked out form of abbreviated English in emails, anyway? So if you can read that, then I assume you can read anything -- Ebonic-emails included. So don't stress yourself out.

not if they want to be taken seriously but if its just something nonchalant then yeah why not?
