What do you think about US Mexicans flying the Mexican flag from their vehicles? ?

Seems to pretty much seal their allegiance to another country. Today I witnessed someone flying two Mexican flags from their brand new SUV. Hmmm, I wonder if they'd be driving that SUV if they still lived in the country that they have blind allegiance to.

I have no problem with someone flying a Mexican flag, next to, or occompanied by an American flag...but what I was witness to today was a shame.

We Americans have our own flag, thanks.

What do you think about immigrants who come to this country, and have no respect or allegiance to old glory?

BTW.. I Said immigrants, NOT Mexicans, i would like to believe that most Mexicans are not like this.

I see your point Nic... I love Mexico but I am in the U. S. because this country provides opportunities for me and my family; so, to a certain degree I could say that I have some allegiance to it. I have blind allegiance to my native country because I am proud of its history, hard working people, among other things. However, I also respect this country, and I cannot understand why someone would have two flags of their native country. To get attention maybe... or maybe to display how hard they have worked.

Whether this person could have been driving such car in his/her country or not, I believe that people should have allegiance to their country not to the people that corrupts it, and therefore limits how much the citizens from such country can acomplish there.

it's funny how that Kat M person says that we do not need illegal immigrants in this country however this country was created on illegal immigration by traitors who didnt respect laws (stop me when I'm wrong!!) From what I remember Native Americans controlled this here united states that you now believe you have claim to. It is soooo sad that people are so proud to display their ignorance.
I suggest learn about having pride in your own heritage try learning about your history and be proud of it because only then will you be able to understand what so many other cultures have.

As for the flag as long as you show respect for eveyone else's flag do what ever makes you happy.

Why don't you take a drive into NY or L.A.'s China Towns, Little Italy and the Puerto Rican neighborhoods in Florida? People fly their flags as a pride in their heritage, not in disrespect towards America. Look around and you'll see flags and especially flag stickers (Canadian flag stickers) all over the place, it's not just the Mexican flag. But it seems that it's the focal point lately. You should really get out and learn different cultures and beliefs. Living in the US you don't have to leave your state to do that, and that's what's great about it.

I'm working in a hotel in the UK where we at the moment have 60 Americans staying. There are five American flags hanging out of the hotel windows.

I don't see anything wrong with it. It's great that people are proud of their heritage and it doesn't matter what country they are in. An American in the UK is still an American, and a Mexican in the US is still a Mexican.

I suppose it depends on where you are in the USA. If you're in somewhere like Texas or Utah or California etc, ie one of the states annexed by the USA after the Mexican-American War, it's kind of understandable if one of the flag flying Mexicans living there is descended from people who were already in that area before it was annexed. It's not so different from Scots or Welsh people flying their flag instead of the Union Jack when you think about it.
