Who does the U.S. retaliate against when it is "attacked" by hurricanes if at all.?
Terrorism attacks occur and the U.S. retaliates punishing the people responsible with good reason of course. Why doesn´t the U.S. then retaliate on the people responsible for Katrina and for the disaster it left? I don´t mean you guys have to bomb the wind or the sea, because actually those were the two "terrorists" that caused so much damage. I mean to give jail time or fines to the people responsible for not taking the necessary measures such as investment in infrastructure. Furthermore, why doesn´t the U.S. punish the people that emit too much CO2 (this is for the people like me that believe CO2 emissions are causing more and harsher hurricanes, if you don´t believe this then only focus on the previous questions) who are responsible for the "monster hurricanes".
Just another thing, I also think everyone of us is responsible for higher emissions, but this is not willingly for one reason. We do not know which companies emit more CO2 and which do not, but still need to at least eat and dress. However companies and company owners and executives DO know how much they pollute and are single handedly responsible for much more CO2 emissions than any individual citizen could ever pollute which is a HUGE difference.
What do you think, should everything remain the same and just wait for more hurricanes, more New Orleans and Galveston evacuations and disasters or should someone take action? and if so against whom?
