Is it too late to start taking prenatal vitamins?

Well I am about 3months and 1 week. I didn't start taking them when I found out I was pregnant because I was going to get an abortion, but I changed my mind. I have been eating healthy but was worried still that I should be taking prenatal vitamins. Is it too late to start taking them?

No, it's not too late. And with you being a pirate you must make sure to get lots of vitamin C to prevent scurvy, arrrr.

Never too late. I mean, I took vitamins for the first 2 or 3 months, then stopped for a few months, and have just started up again. It doesnt harm your baby, not taking them. It just ensures that they are getting all the stuff they need(and replaces your supply, since they take it from you). Think about in the old days when women didnt take prenatals, or any vitamins at all for that matter... their babies turned out just fine :)

No its not too late, your baby still has a lot of developing to do and the prenatal vitamins will help the both of you.

No, it's not too late. The extra nutrients will help even though you are starting them now. With my 4 year old I did not know I was pregnant 'til I was about 4 months when I checked into the hospital with a kidney infection. So I didn't take them 'til I was 4 months along. So just start taking them now, every bit helps :)

It's never too late. The vitamins will help you have the energy you need and keep you and the baby healthy.
