Upper chest pressure/pain?

Pressure and dull pain in my upper right chest, close to the sternum (if facing me, it'd be upper left.) It seems to affect me when inhaling or exhaling deeply, as well and bending backwards or to my right. It seems to be spreading to the very edge of my right chest.
Any ideas?

There don't seem to be any other symptoms, aside from slightly swollen tonsils when waking (though that happens to be often, they shrink back after half an hour or so) and a minor dry cough, no phlegm or blood.

Star- Best guess is that you have a virus causing an upper respiratory infection with nearby inflammation of the outside surfaces of the lung covering (pleura), known as pleuritis. The inflammation could easily be a cause of the pain you feel upon breathing out and in when the lungs expand. For now, with no fever, treat it as a bad cold with extra fluids and rest, and perhaps some mild pain medicine like Tylenol or ibuprofen.

If it's only once I agree with the person who wrote before me but if it happens from time to time you should get an x-ray of your chest. I have those exact same symptoms and mine is due to sarcoidosis in the lungs.
