I was wondering what your take of last nights debate is. Are you angry about it or pleased? Did you not approve of Biden on some things? How did the debate last night make you feel?
This post is NOT to bash liberals or any political opinion. I just want some Liberals input.

Wow, some of you could have left out your anti-Palin comments for you and your agreable friends. You'd still have got your point across.
Yaya, thank you for being Neutral and respectful in your voice. I wish more Liberals were like you!
Lastly, I know there are right wingers ruled by religion and others that are just as far to the right as some are to the left. it works both ways.

In a way, they both won., Biden clearly had possession of the facts and knowledge, and Palin came off looking like an idiot, but less of an idiot than most people expected. What I was surprised at was Palin's arrogance and condescension. I didn't expect that. I would have hoped that when she didn't know the answer, she would have the honesty to admit it rather than to explain to all of us that "straight talking" means that you don't have to tell us the truth. It is bad enough being talked down to by someone who knows more, or is smarter than I am. To be talked down to by someone attempting to hide their ignorance was very infuriating. Maybe, to her core base of supporters, she seems smart and they enjoy being treated like children, but McCain needs swing voters and I think that Palin did him a big disservice. The polls are looking very very bad for McCain and I think the likelyhood of him becoming president just got a bit smaller.
I think Biden did really well. Although, I think he went easy on Palin. There were a few points Palin made that I would have really slammed her on, but again I'm sure he didn't want to appear like a brute for being too rough on her.
I am pleased with the debate. I felt rather sorry for Palin and her memorized questions and que cards, but if she can't stand the heat, she should probably stay out of the kitchen, as they say.
I thought Biden performed admirably. He held back from completely humiliating the village idiot and instead stuck to the issues. Palin was well rehearsed, her handlers must be proud.
No one ever agrees completely with any one politician, and I certainly don't agree in everything with either Obama or Biden. However, overall I feel he has demonstrated a calm, competent approach, and I feel he'll be very good for the job - not that any of that is new, the debate alone didn't change my opinion of him much.
