Have you ever looked in the mirror and wondered?

Why am I me and not someone else? My daughter and I talk about this a lot because it's really weird when ya think about it. Like just the fact that you can NEVER be anyone else, even if you get a sex change, name change or whatever...you will always be YOU. Makes my head spin...lol

I have wondered a similar thing - What if for some reason I wasn't born to my mother or into my family? Would my consciousness have been transferred to someone else's baby, or would I have just ceased to exist? And what would my life be like if I had a different family, would it have changed who I am?!? Wow, too confusing.

I don't see why it makes your head spin. I think that's great. There are no two snowflakes the same. Never was, nor ever will be. No two leafs the same either no two trees, no two rain drops oh I could go on.

Because each of us is 'one of a kind' and that's wonderful. What if we were the same? What would be the point? When gazing into the mirror focus on your own eyes. You'll see God. And Love.

You are who and what you are. You could never be anyone else, otherwise that wouldn't be you but someone else instead. No, it doesn't make my head spin at all. :)
