What is the Status of the Southeast US Gas Shortage?

From what I read, as long as you don't get too close to any large cities you should have no issues getting gas. If you get close to the larger cities you could run into problems. Atlanta has issues, but they said 1 hour outside the city limits you could get gas no problems. That was about 4 days ago when I remember reading about it.
