Is 10 minutes on DDR=10 minutes jogging on a treadmill?
If I play DDR for 10 minutes, will I get as good a workout and burn as many calories as jogging for 10 minutes? If not, which is a better workout? How do you know?

First of all, no, you will not get as good a workout/burn as many calories playing DDR for 10 minutes as jogging for 10 minutes. There just isn't enough activity involved, and you're not going to be dancing the whole time.
Secondly, a better workout than both of those would be just jogging along a route outdoors. Treadmills make it easier for you.
I know this because:
A - Running on treadmills make it seem like you're going faster than you really are, so you feel more inclined to slow down.
B - Oftentimes, there is poor ventilation indoors and the air you breathe is not as clean as the air outdoors.
C - It's simply a great feeling to jog along a natural route.
Edit:
Or, if jogging isn't the thing for you, get a job that requires labor. My brother had a summer job sealing driveways with tar. By the end of summer, he gained quite a bit of muscle.

Calories is a large topic when it comes to weight loss. We need to learn three things: the volume of calories in our food, the volume of calories a specific physical action burns each hour, and finally our own personal daily allowance of calories. I uncovered the solutions to all of these issues by reading the web resource in the box below, they have lots of tips, I shed 8 pounds by following their techniques.
