I wish I knew the top songs, inside jokes from TV, what's going on in pop culture, etc. but I don't really know how to go about learning all these things while still having the time to do all the nerdy things I love. I'd like to add that I'm not a social nerd or anything and I do have friends, haha.

Just watch more TV and check out websites like YouTube.

Who cares?
People who are "in" are tools. If you're happy with your life rightnow, just chill. If you get mixed up with the "in" crowd, you'll just end up getitng mixed up in stupid gossip, celebrity news, and being too influenced by what other people think is cool.
But, if you still wanna get into the "in" stuff, just switch on MTV, and let them tell you how to be "cool"
