Aren't you a little suspicious about the popularity of Obama versus McCain?

I believe Obama's popularity and victory was planned out all long. Just compare the two candidates and their running mates. Obama is a very charismatic, reputable individual. His running mate is also very charismatic and has 30 years worth of senatorial experience. McCain on the other hand appears to be a grumpy 70 something senator, not very charismatic and can seem overly sarcastic at times. And the worst part of the republican campaign, PALIN, what were they thinking, an evangelical female governor of Alaska. The republicans were meant to lose this election, it was planned all along, I can't find any other explanation for there countless terrible decisions during this campaign. Besides if it wasn't planned,Ron Paul would have been running against Obama and he would have dominated this election, especially since the economy is in such a terrible state and he predicated this over 2 years ago.

That's what i am saying there is no republican or democratic party. Its one single corporately controlled election, simple as that.

Nope. I don't that there has been any sort of conspiracy.

I really think John McCain's Karl Rovian advisors thought they could pull the wool over eyes of the American People one more time. When McCain chose Palin my husband exploded, "Geeze honey, what the h****s happened to John McCain? Has he gone senile, or is he suiciding?" I'll admit I had to think about the latter for a day or two. For one rather paranoid moment I thought---is he trying to take out the Republican party? Then, I remembered George W. Bush.

I'd forgot again the lesson I'd just relearned over the previous eight years. Never underestimate the capacity of human beings to be incompetent and stupid.

it would never ensue and right this is why: Obama might never %. Hillary because of the fact he spent hundreds of hundreds of thousands in donor money to objective to triumph over her. it would be an insult to all those supporters to choose for her as his working mate. Romney may be the president of the united states and can be McCain's superb selection. Romney is a businessman and somebody who will understand the thank you to restoration the monetary equipment, which particularly is our form one difficulty precise now. Romney is plenty extra enjoyed than McCain, yet he did no longer win because of the fact Huckaburger stole 0.5 his votes. Hillary on any fee ticket loses because of the fact too many people hate her. Romney on the fee ticket is McCains superb possibilities to triumph over what maximum probable would be a historic win for the 1st black president.

Nah, I'm not surpised. After the last 8 years, a guy comes in promising "change" and there you go. Although I am surprised he was able to knock off Hillary. And considering how much support Ron Paul was getting through donations, on the internets and such, it seems like he probably should have done a bit better.

Everytime you turn on the TV you see his face, of course he is more popular. And Americans watch the idiot box like its the second coming of christ or something and take everything the talking heads say as gospel.

The media wants Obama elected because it is a story. McCain getting elected is just another old white dude to them, there is no sensationalism there.

Well it does seem that way, however look at how many new voters their are and the historic records of people voting especially Democrats. I am proud of this presidential election, everyone is finally seeing the leadership we really need.
