How much will Obama's Change cost the USA, morally, economically and politically?
Hope And Change:
Once upon a time, there was a charismatic and eloquent young leader who decided his nation needed a change, and he was the one to implement it.
The people were receptive and ready for a change.
He spoke passionately when denouncing the existing system, and the press loved him.
Nobody questioned what he believed in or who his friends were.
He would help the poor and bring free medical care and education to all.
He would bring justice and equality.
He said, 'I am for hope and change, and will bring you both. ' Nobody bothered to ask about the change, so by the time the executioner' s guns went silent, all guns had been confiscated.
When everyone was finally equal, they were equally poor, hungry, and miserable. Their free education was worthless.
When the change was fully implemented, the country had been reduced to Third World status.
More than a million people fled in small boats and rafts.
The charismatic young leader was Fidel Castro; the nation, Cuba .. The citizens of the United States would never fall for a charismatic, eloquent young leader who promises hope and change without asking, 'What change, and how much will it cost us?' Would we?

Perhaps there are SOME out there who are beginning to get 'the picture'. The following is a narrative taken from Sunday Morning's televised 'Meet The Press'. and the author is employed by none other than the Washington Post!! Yeah......the Post of and Los Angeles Times fame!! Must say that I'm dually impressed...................
From Sunday's Televised 'Meet the Press' Senator Obama was asked about his stance on the American Flag. Obama Explains National Anthem Stance
Sun, 07 Sept. 2008 11:48:04 EST, General Bill Ginn' USAF (ret.) asked Obama to explain why he doesn't follow protocol when the National Anthem is played.
The General also stated to the Senator that according to the United States Code,
Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171... During rendition of the national anthem when the flag is displayed, all present except those in uniform are expected to stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. At the very least, 'Stand and Face It'
Senator Obama Live on Sunday states, 'As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides, Obama said. 'There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression. And the anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all. It should be swapped for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like To Teach the World To Sing.' If that were our anthem, then I might salute it.'We should consider to reinvent our National Anthem as well as to redesign our Flag to better offer our enemies hope and love. It's my intention, if elected, to disarm to the level of acceptance to our Middle East Brethren. If we as a Nation of warring people, should conduct ourselves as the nations of Islam, whereas peace prevails. Perhaps a state or period of mutual concord between our governments. When I become President, I will seek a pact or agreement to end hostilities between those who have been at war or in a state of enmity, and a freedom from disquieting oppressive thoughts. We as a Nation have placed upon the nations of Islam an unfair injustice. My wife disrespects the Flag for many personal reasons. Together she and I have attended several flag burning ceremonies in the past, many years ago. She has her views and I have mine'. Of course now, I have found myself about to become the President of the and I have put aside my hatred. I will use my power to bring CHANGE to this Nation, and offer the people a new path of hope. My wife and I look forward to becoming our Country's First Family. Indeed, CHANGE is about to overwhelm the .
WHAAAAAAAT the Hell !!!
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, you heard it right. This could possibly be our next President.
I hope we will never have to find out, but Obama's crowds have always reminded me supporters of Stalin, Hitler, Castro, and other small countries around the world led by dictatorship. It usually starts as an enthusiastic revolution, then the reality sets in, and sometimes the reality stays in for decades, destroying the country and its people. In the 1980s my cousin went to Cuba as an exchange student (from Europe) and she later described how terrible life there was and how poor the country was. She only survived there a few months and never wanted to go there again.
I read an article yesterday in the Wall Street Journal that Obama's crowds are unprecedented in America. The author writes, "We associate them [the crowds] with the temper of Third World societies. We think of places like Argentina and Egypt and Iran, of multitudes brought together by their zeal for a Peron or a Nasser or a Khomeini. In these kinds of societies, the crowd comes forth to affirm its faith in a redeemer: a man who would set the world right." So I believe you are right - and more people associate him with something we may not want to have here. I hope the wise Americans will vote too, and the good will prevail :)
To tell you the truth it's probably better that way. Haha. Seriously I mean Obama has a great view on things, as our four fathers once said it's better to try change then hide in a corner. Now I don't remember which one but i live by that statement! Bad Karma? Whats the worse that could happen? War? Terrorist? Oh that's right it's already happening. I think Obamama could bring great change to America and hopefully help us out of this economic rut we are in. We've been trying to stay away from the word "resession" but really we need to face the facts it's going to happen! Just a thought haley
I know it is late in the game and I have not officially declared this prior to today but I felt it was time to announce that: I am formally seeking the OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA unto this nation I will stand one man torn to pieces over the ways of the world and I can change things.
I meet all of the constitutional requirements save one to run for the highest office in the land.
The reasons I have for making such a uncharacteristic statement are these: (this is my platform-for those in the know)
I am the best man for the job (we have had enough of the socially elite ruling over the masses) I am a simple poet/artist/dreamer with a very good natured soul.
I am wise enough to bring this world to peace, yet cool enough to make it happen. I'd sit and talk with the people of the world as my chosen family and no harm would ever threaten this planet again from any enemy, alien or domestic.
No person, pet or thing would ever suffer the anquish of hunger and all would float lightly on sandals of hope and none will lug the boots of war to action again!
The hope of the world rests in these hands and I will care for it with reverence and compassion.
No one will be permitted to hate and all will speak freely the dreams of their heart.
Rifles will rust and bombs will protect us from rocks in the heavens that threaten our planet.
Children run free to follow their visions and women will teach us the way to be gentle
The ovens will entice us to hot homemade cookies and snowfights will measure the strength of a faction
Flowers will blanket the shores of resentment and oceans will pound them free from the bloodshed
Our home will become haven to new world explorers and heartache will vanish and quick as the virus.
I ask no support from those with a vendetta sandals and sparrows can come to my meetings.
Peace is the answer, if not for ourselves those who lay waiting to share this new world
If money and oil can blindside our reason reach for the stars and start with our sun
The children, the children don't deserve what we're doing we must stop this madness before it's too late
SO VOTE FOR DAVE ADAM Poet and dreamer it's time for a change I'm sick of this world (as it is..)
Wow. The story of Cuba and Castro should be a warning to all thinking of giving it all to Obama. Everyone should have a copy of what you wrote before they go vote. Even if McCain isn't perfect, he would be a good caretaker of the Nation and not bring a disastrous revolution we don't need. One hope is that the quiet hardworking people who don't go to rallies or who aren't interviewed by media will surprise everyone and sweep McCain into office.
