Unlimited actually means that u can use as much MB/GB in that period. That thing will not be counted in your 1.5 GB free and in ur bill. Yes you can download anything in that period.
If you want to download movies, games and software see this

Hello; I had the BSNL BB 4MBPS connection earlier and then it did not meet the specifications on Tx/Rx of data-bytes, so I have changed my plan to 2MBPS line and it gives the same speed as 4MBPS and ever the monthly rental is less. The request to change of plan happened within one month of the connection but the actual change happened after one month, I went to the local BSNL office and I talked to them and they did. The only thing was if you took the connection say Jan 1 and if you request for change of plan on Jan 10 or with Jan, the billing life cycle has to end for that month and then change of plan request will be applied from the next month. So for the initial month you need to pay the monthly rent and from the next month the rent will be applied depending on the connection (new/upgraded/change-of-plan). There are two ways here - I am not sure which one you have opted; 1.User takes the connection and pays the money for complete one year duration where here he get some price discount on the annual package (this as the connection is active and paid for annual, so theoratically they do not suggest to customer to change the plan) 2. As regular - user pays each month (fixed amount) and at the end of 12 months he actually pays a bit more than annual one time pay If you have opted for 1 then, probably you will be losing some money if you send a forced request for change of plan and I guess there will be no refund and they might consider moving your money to your new or plan-change connection. For this you need to go and talk to them in person (which will be better) If you have opted 2 then there is no issue you can change the plan at your will and probably you need to wait for the respective month to end and then new-plan will be considered from then. (visit the nearest branch and talk to them in person, will be very helpful) As the rule you have mentioned in your request is seem like you have opted for 1 (but I am not sure), so please check your connection detail letter sent by BSNL. Hope this helps.
