I have several questions. Do ANY of you set aside the color of Obama? Do you realize we should be afraid NOT of the color, but of what he is going to do by pulling out the troops? Do you know it's going to be 911 all over again eventually? How do you feel about him pulling out the troops and then all of those boys/men died for NOTHING trying to keep YOU free? Has anyone noticed we have less hostage situations now then we did several years ago? That's because we are in Iraq not letting the bad guys set up stations and Cells (ie: terrorist groups camping in Iraq) !!!! What do you think?

We are in Iraq to stop the terroists from forming 'cells' there and nests of little terrorist groups. They will take over Iraq along with other close areas and build little armies covering all of those areas. Maybe you should ask an ACTIVE Soldier what he/she thinks, then you will understand. They were not forced to go, they enlisted on their own! I am friends with a Soldier on his second tour and to have him face the fact that he lost his best frined for nothing hurts. They are there for a reason, you'll see.

dude we should have pulled out the troops a long time ago. hes pulling them out because they did what they were supposed to do forever ago and idk why they are still in there. reasons after reasons. we need to worry abt our own country not theres.
Show me proof where Iraq ever posed a direct threat to us as a nation or to our freedom.. Saddam was an awful dictator who deserved to die for what he did to his own people but he never posed a threat to us and ceased being a threat to his neighbors after Desert Storm in 1991.. This idea that our troops are fighting for our freedom in Iraq was a lie given by the Bush Administration to go to war with a nation rich in oil..
It's a bitter pill to swallow but I've seen no information to prove that Iraq was ever a threat to us.. WMDs were never found.. Al Queda in Iraq didn't show up until AFTER we arrived and removed Saddam from power.. Is it better to fight them over there instead of over here? Yes.. but at what point do those in Iraq stop being "insurgents" and start being patriots who are tired of us being there? We've leveled entire towns, farms and neighborhoods.. We've displaced millions of people.. We've killed or captured thousands more and tortured those who we thought may have information on who attacked us.. We've spent $10BILLION a month to destroy and rebuild a country that hates us with each day that we stay there.. We told them going in that this wasn't an occupation but a liberation.. Five years later, we're still there and will not give them even a hint as to when we'll pull up our tent stakes and leave them alone..
I love my country and I'm proud to be an American but the people of Iraq probably view us as the terrorists instead of these Muslim extremists.. We need to pull out of there and take the fight to our real enemy.. Those who attacked us on 9/11..
Do you realize that we spend over $10 BILLION DOLLARS a month in Iraq to keep us "free" as you said? While the poor get poorer. gee thanks. The Iraq war is nothing but a Corporate controlled resource power grab, backed by the US government (you and I) which was started (ILLEGALLY, I might add) by Pres. George Bush and his oil cronies Rumsfeld, Cheney etc etc.
The reasons that the bad Muslim men are attaching the US anyway is because, first we're "infidels" and second, it's our capitalistic, corporate insanity that has spread over to their lands and they don't like it.
