Is it true that S. Palin pardoned a Turkey, while another was being slaughtered in the background?

I'm not one to report unfavorable news ;o), but they did have a video on this.

Pablo, honey your missing the point. It has nothing to do with food. For you information I don't eat fried chicken, I roast it. Ignorance is bliss.

Yes, I just saw the video on TV.

How ridiculous that she doesn't have the sense to realize that it was in the worst of taste.

Another of the many examples of her poor judgement.

It's bad enough about the Troopergate thing and her abusing the powers of her office, and still another to be flying her children at taxpayers' expense--

She's proven herself to be another politician without ethics and good judgement, and just another hog at the trough.

Not exactly.

Actually, if you watch the video you will see the smiling turkey executioner slaughtering two turkeys while Gov. Palin is talking.

In fact, she has just completed the process of pardoning a turkey and is jaboring on about political stuff when "Joe the Turkey Man" executes two turkeys in the background.

No and Yes. AFTER she pardoned the turkey, at the place were turkey's die, she was doing a short interview and in the background was some Gomer putting a turkey, head first, in some big funnel shaped thingy!
I'm not really sure it's a big deal to me. I got my turkey in the freezer!

The news is pretty shameless about this sort of thing.

ALmost every governor pardons a turkey and eats one. Palin has no monopoly on thanksgiving dinner, but dont tell MSNBC who are stuck on stupid about it.
