They have been dating for almost 4 months and are pretty serious. She is 20 years old, in culinary school, and works as a line cook in a chop house. She likes to read. Beside that I really don't know a whole lot about her. We don't want to spend a fortune but want her to be included in the Christmas celebration.

A gift certificate to a book store or a cooking supply store. A lot of people don't like to buy gift certificates because they think it's not personal enough but I love it when I can go and pick something I have been wanting instead of the person trying to guess what I want or need.

Maybe try stopping in a Book Store like Borders and checking out the Best Seller Books and choosing one. Or perhaps a Barnes and Noble Giftcard? If she likes music and has an ipod, an itunes giftcard could work too... Good Luck :)
