Anyone curious if the senate/house is going to take their raise?

I was wondering myself if those greedy twits in the Senate/House are going to take their annual cost of living raise..which is around 4700.00 each or are they going to vote not to take it.

Hey there-yes I know they vote for it every year, hence the word annual cost of living raise in question.

Yes, they will probably take it. Who isn't going to vote themselves a raise.

I'm sure the view from their ivory tower is nice, but they probably feel like that raise isn't enough for them.

With the way the public is currently suffering economically, anyone with any intention of remaining in the public limelight ought to be volunteering for a paycut to set an example for CEOs etc and give some of us a glimmer of hope!!! And a much needed break from the greed!

They will. With all the mess going on in the economy kinda reminds one of Nero fiddling while Rome burned.

They vote for it EVERY YEAR. They take their raise EVERY YEAR. This year is no different.

They will justify it with how "hard" they have been working, and how much more they have to do. Don't ya just love it?

It's only $4700. That hardly pays their lunch tab for the year. Of course they'll take it. $4700 is nothing to them.
