Sony alpha DSLR-A300K or Nikon D60 ?
I'm moments away from buying my first DSLR camera. I thought would be good to get some opinions about which one is better and has long lasting battery and overall is GOOD before I buy it.

Good question. Usually we say Men behind camera? oh it is a phrase which means, it is not camera it is men behind it.
Before you ask which one is good. First you should decide what for you need a camera? what is your budget then think of this question.
If you like photography you should know that Nikon is famous for camera and other accessories however, Sony got name for other electronic items. Therefore by just a simple comparison you will know Nikon is much better than Sony.
Ok now we got three Nikon Models, D40, D60 and D90 new one. Some user like Nikon D40, while other like D60 those who got money they like D90 too.
Now, I request you better check the link 1 for D60 review and link 2 for D90. and 3 for sony. If you search review on net you will get a lot of details about cameras.
Advise, whenever you want to purchase any item think of
1. Budget
2. Design
3. What functions do you need?
4. Easy operation or difficult?
You can find all by searching web and reading reviews about products.
I suggest you should go for Nikon if you have only these two options.
Wish you success.
