Do the smallest things catch your eye, occasionally?
GLINT
I see myself Differently, with The world wrapped round As a fishes eye Brightly,sharp-lined And glinting; edged. An evolving, elliptical Self contained Rolling world, and then Gone. Breezed away On a wind-whim. Window-rain.

Moonbeam, originally the line was 'As through a fishes eye' but I edited it to give what I felt was a cleaner 'feel' to it. Sorry if it made it unclear, but thanks for the comment anyway, it means you read and thought about it. What more could a wannabe poet ask?

The whole thing is about seeing the world reflected and distorted in a raindrop rolling down the window.

I am getting used to your style of writing.
Very nice write this. Love the imagery you use in your work--i like to see it!
What was the kindest thing anyone has ever done for me? At 77, that is really hard to say. I was nearly 50 when I met and married my wife of 35 and previous to that had almost completely convinced myself that I would never find love. I am not a very handsome man, but my wife was and is absolutely gorgeous. I would have to say hearing her tell me that I was the loveliest man she had ever met and knowing that her words were sincere was the kindest thing anyone has ever done for me. I read several of the answers and came across one that truly broke my heart. A young girl said that no one has ever done anything kind for her without some ulterior motive. Perhaps most people would see this young lady as very vacuous and unappreciative, but I am deeply saddened that she feels that way. I doubt it would be much consolation, but I wish I could tell her that we repeat lessons in life until we get what we need to move forward. Perhaps she has not experienced kindness because she has not extended it without conditions and will not experience it until she removes that expectation.
Different times or different eyes can see the same things so differently, can be moved in such different ways. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as the saying goes, but only if they take the time to behold....
Too many earl gray teas this morn? lol A water streaked window can get your mind going. Interesting how we see things differently when we are in 'different' places. Nice glint.
