Why don't they have a CSI Long Beach?

So many scenes in CSI Miami are actually shot in SoCal, Is there something to be ashamed of about Long Beach CA?

Nothing like driving down Willow and seeing a CSI Miami police car pull up along side you. Monday's episode was filmed near my office in Downtown.
